These huge pharmaceutical companies are know to make bad drugs on purpose? Have you ever tried lithium? lol

Capitalism didn't give us a 40 hour work week: Capitalism didn't give us weekends & paid holidays: By the early 1900s, many industries had adopted the eight-hour workday, but most people were still working six days a week. That continued until 1926 when Henry Ford removed one required day of work from his employees' schedules. Ford's employees had been working 48 hours a week: eight-hour days and six-day weeks. Removing one day resulted in eight-hour shifts for five days a week - what we now know as the 40-hour workweek. Ford found that his workers were actually more productive working 40 hours a week than they had been working 48 hours a week. His success with the change inspired manufacturing companies all over the country to adopt the 40-hour workweek. Medieval Peasants people were allowed to rest on Holy days (from which we get our word Holiday) in the 19th century skilled workers were paid for holidays. Paid holidays for laborers were put forward by Car manufacturers, gasoline producers and resort owners to encourage people to buy cars, gas and to travel Capitalism didn't give us safe working conditions. child labour conditions led to FACTORY OWNER, Sir Robert Peel, introducing the Health and Morals of Apprentices Act 1802, commonly known as the Factory Act Capitalism didn't give us K-12 education: No, but capitalism PAYS FOR K-12 education through taxes of property owners and businesses. Capitalism didn't give us Social Security: Capitalism didn't give us Medicare, Medicaid & the ACA. Who do you think pays into social security? Every employed person whether owner, management or worker. The entire social security process is based on capitalism, people earning money and paying into a pool that provides for their security in old age... Medicare is a program of the social security administration. Everything you listed IS a result of Capitalism and the benefits of living in a Capitalistic society. You slept through most of your history classes, didn't you. Check out the Haymarket Riot in Chicago in 1886. |

Now imagine Red states in 20 years when kids have only been taught the greatness of the White man.
