The DNC seems like they were going for the safe choice with Biden, so it isn't really any big surprise that they would go with a deeply establishment, politically opportunistic, candidate like Kamala Harris. Harris is kind of like a younger, not quite so white, version of Hillary Clinton. Kamala didn't make it until the first vote was cast in the primary and here she could be President. She has to like the sound of that. It is a good thing that Harris' father, a Jamaican-American immigrant and respected Stanford Economics Professor, is there to set her straight when she starts in with her bullshit.

Once upon a time, a young woman in her 20's was working her way up the political ladder she had tried going down the traditional paths of working hard and applying what she knew, so she decided to think out of the box. This young woman took it upon herself to suck the balls of a 60-year-old, married man in order to advance her own career. I haven't met many 20-year-old women who have this kind of drive and fortitude. That girl was Kamala.
