Odds of the House of Representatives going Democratic next year don't look great--the Republican chokehold is that strong, and Texas might reapportion its congressiona districts to get rid of five Democratic ones. (The lieutenant governor does seem to be digging his own political grave, but that's another matter).

The Epstein stuff may be most important as a reminder of Trump's long-term behavior. Even Trump's explanation of dumping Epstein because he was "stealing" Mar-a-Lago underage massage employees is smelly. Otherwise, look at Trump attacking universities, Coca-Cola, and his supporters trying to rename the Kennedy Center (and its opera auditorium after his current wife). He, or his staff, have been posting on Truth Social at a blistering pace--which may be a sign of panic. Or possibly, MAGA enthusiasts may get all excited about banning windmills or chemtrails.
