Here is the thing, everyone know global warming is real, just like they know a polluted environment is bad for all involved, but those things get in the way of progress. If you remove all studies and documentation, you are doing nothing wrong when you dump the oil in the river or plow down the tree that has the final pair of some badass endangered bird. The US isn't about caring for the world around it, it's about profit. Protected wetlands need houses. The oil companies need more drilling rights no matter the pollution they generate. Flood zones are irrelevant if the land is cheap and the permits are given. Forests are for logging. Wild spaces a waste. Those bison, elk and panthers can go elsewhere. Money. Money. Money. Fuck the rest.
