The point was a loyalty test. Now everyone knows who is more loyal to Trump than their constituents. That loyalty will not protect them from being primaried, ironically the threat used to force their loyalty, once the elections come around again.

This is typical Trump. All just a cover to help his cronies and his buds.

Every once in a while, he'll throw the conservatives a bone to remind them that he is on their side, like supporting a half-assed law on abortion or gay marriage, or some other social shit that has very little impact on his financial outlook. And of course the MAGA cult falls for it.

Even if the above garbage were true, all of that is fine by me. What's not to like about any of that? The bottom line is that it incorporates many promises that Trump made and the people voted for Trump because of those promises.
