I wonder what his daily briefing looked like that day. He ignored it and pushed it away like every other daily briefing. It was probably a coloring book showing Trump cartoonishly coming out of a tariff sludge and the Ewok looking fake news putting a chicken head mask on him. The next frame would be Trump getting out of the tariff sludge while the fake media Ewoks chanted TACO, which they explained was not to take seriously.

I was right.

During Trump season 1, it quickly was realized that Trump was not trustworthy, and he had no patients with actual data or complex scenarios.

The word was that if you were preparing source data for the SES who formats and presents it to the President that for Trump to please keep it short, show actual pictures if you can, only address high level capabilities not the tech or means it is achieved....and preferably less than 5 pages including cover sheets.
For other presidents these briefings were often 30-60 pages and explained the complexities behind them.
Bush was really interested in the briefings and was a nice guy to brief, Obama was interested but more from an administrators point of view.
Trump was neither of the above....

So yeah, i can see why Tulsi is having a problem getting him to pay attention to the PDB, and is calling in the fox muppet show to keep this toddler entertained while they tell him shit that is important to keep our country safe.

You know, in spite of her often misguided beliefs I am starting to think that Tulsi is about the only person in that administration that is a patriot acting in good faith. She is actually trying to figure out how to effectively do her job even if that means creating briefing theatre for the sundowning psycho toddler.
