Listening to Fox and the trump shill Faulkner felt compelled to bring up illegal aliens several times and how this killing could be related to undocumented people and how dangerous illegal aliens are...but she made it clear that she isn't say an illegal alien actually committed this murder.
She had to work hard to shoehorn the illegal alien thing into the conversation...so hats off to her for her acrobatic maneuvering.
This certainly looks like a thought out attack on this CEO. Quite possible they may not get the guy, but I hope they do.

Hell it could be related to actual aliens if they're just going to throw shit at the wall.
I'd like it to be the ghost of Lucy Parsons, but it sounds professional to me.

I have done legal battle against UHC. It is not a good company so far as paying what they should. Wouldn't surprise me if the killer was someone who was stiffed by them. Other big health care company execs have security for that very reason.

Maybe a hitman's wife was denied cancer drugs as too new to be covered. Definitely a very professional hit. Successful too.

Some facts about United Health Group:
UHG brought in about $281 Billion in revenue last year.
Johnson was one of the highest paid execs with $10.2 million salary, bonus and stock options.
Johnson was on his way to speak at an investor meeting to announce UHG was projected to make $455 Billion in 2025.
UHG had denied the most claims out of any heath provider at 32% (next highest was 27%)
Johnson took over as CEO in 2021, the same year UHG implemented NaviHealth, an AI tool that "helps" the company make coverage decisions.
In 2023, a class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of deceased patients alleging the tool allowed UHG to "systematically deny claims" of Medicare beneficiaries requiring lifesaving care. The program had a 90% error rate, based on the reversed through internal appeals, processes, or admin law judge rulings.
The lawsuit alleges that UHG knew about the error, but continued using it, knowing that only 0.2% of patients would file appeals of the decisions.

Medicare for all is the answer (not contracted out to private capital), get these damn vultures out of the picture.
"... to announce UHG was projected to make $455 Billion in 2025."
That's disgusting in a country that has healthcare debt as the #1 cause of personal bankruptcy.

Hell I'd say yesterday that CEO got served justice permanently.

Legal justice that is. I wasn't behind the assassination. I'd be lying though if I said that strangulation hadn't crossed my mind when dealing with those SOB's.

>>Investigators found ammunition used by a masked gunman to kill United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson had the words "deny," "defend" and "depose" etched into the shell casings, according to The Associated Press.
Law enforcement believe the messages on the 9 mm ammunition could be a reference to security strategies used to not pay insurance claims, though police are still working to identify the shooter and the motive behind the Manhattan murder.<<
My guess is that his gun was cold and not oiled. I thought originally that the gun didn't cycle intentionally so he could keep the casings, but apparently it was just a failure to eject and he just racked the slide manually.

I'm guessing he might have been shooting subsonic ammo and had to manually rack the slide. Shhhhhhhhh! Don't wake the neighbors.

A semi auto gun really needs to be set up to run a suppressor.
They have an effect on the way the gun cycles because of the extra mass on the end of the barrel, and because of the timing of the pressure dissipation and back pressure.
RT is right, the gun and ammo need to be tuned together to run reliably.
Seeing the raw vid I do think he was very calm and intentional, but am not sure he is some sort of black ops pro or seasoned expert at this sort of thing.
If he was a pro the CEO would have tripped and fell out of a window.
Just sayin'.

I think that too. Professionals make the cause of death look like anything but a homicide, however, the exception being that this was meant to look like a murder. Its sending a message. Also, who writes on shell casings? Its a statement.

I guess he got one of those 0.2% appeals the hard way.
If we're going to have guns rampant throughout the country, at least maybe this is a sign they'll get aimed at the right people instead of the kids
