Alright a double header --- the English Beats cover of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles " Tears of a Clown " is One of my all time favorite Ska tunes . **** ( Did you know that in the UK ---They simply go by the name The Beat , the English moniker was only added later for the US market , probably due to publishing rights and royalties , all the UK Imports are simply labeled " The Beat " )

Saw The Beat at Hard Rock in Orlando last year and it was a good show, though I would prefer them in a smaller setting without seats. Plaza Live would be perfect. They played with Bad Manners in Cocoa Beach years ago and it was incredible.

I saw that show with Bad Manners in Ft Lauderdale. Buster Bloodvessel and in Leopard print ska ska skaing around. Laughed and danced. Lip up fatty!

I was right.

I was at the Bad manners E.Beat show in CB. I remember having to duck my head as we were so jammed up against that tiny venue's stage so I wouldn't get poked by the trombone player.

UB40 doesn't do anything for me, but English Beat?! Oh yeah.
