I am looking for a piece of old commercial-grade carpet to lay down in my garage. Size needed is about 20x20 and I would like a real low pile, like you see in commercial spaces/offices. If somebody is reconfiguring an office space and trashing serviceable carpet, please give me a PM me. Thanks

The office carpet squares make a great flooring for a garage floor, or for a non marring workbench surface. They have a heavy rubber back that is waterproof and low pile.
i don't use them on the floor but do on some workbenches and they last forever. I know a guy who did a cool checkerboard pattern with them on his garage floor and he parks a retromod corvette on it.

Maybe find a office that is being torn out and see if you can get some?
