Let's see how the next 2 games go for the Primealos.

I lost a lot of sleep watching that. That was quite a game.

It was. I was playing a gig to 1:30am and they had it on the Tv right in front of me. Game over at 2:30am. Crazy. Go check the highlights.

Quote, Unquote below:

Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders said two-way star Travis Hunter will miss three weeks with an injury suffered on an illegal hit by safety Henry Blackburn, per Carl Reed Jr. of 247Sports.

Sanders has not disclosed the nature of Hunter's injury. During Monday's Undisputed, Skip Bayless of FS1 reported Hunter suffered a liver laceration from the hit.

THere was some seriously dirty football being played by Colorado State. The hit on Hunter and the targeting Sanders QB.

35-0 at the half. Prime is getting humiliated. Maybe the second half will see the buffaloes get a touchdown but I don't think the ducks are going to take their foot of the Buffaloes necks.

The fake punt by Oregon deep in their own territory showed they weren't buying the hype.

Deion was just as honest in defeat as in victory. I was surprised but I think I should not have been. The commentators blamed everything on the offensive line, which totally disregards how that game was essentially over at the half. There's still a lot of work to do and they are still a good team but they will no longer be the Cinderella story without the win.

A year later:

Buffs going bowling

Coach Prime will coach a bowl game.

Colorado knocked off Cincinnati 34-23 on Saturday, reaching six wins on the season and securing postseason eligibility, something that many of Deion Sanders' critics believed wasn't possible.

Shedeur Sanders was excellent. Travis Hunter was dynamic. Warren Sapp consumed three Subway footlongs on the sideline. Every star shone bright in the win.

Colorado hasn't been to a bowl game since 2020, but Saturday's win marked another turning point that Deion Sanders promised upon arrival. There were reasonable doubts given Coach Prime's unconventional approach to building a team, but the unique alchemy of Hunter, myriad transfers, two of Sanders' own kids, a ton of media attention and an unquenchable desire to spite idiots in the media turned out to be just what the Buffaloes needed.

There are still hills for the Buffs to climb. They've yet to beat a ranked foe. They've got a shot at the Big 12 title game. They'd like to see more engagement on Shilo Sanders' cat's new YouTube channel. But this is invariably a major step for a program that, before Coach Prime's arrival, was a laughingstock and is now one of the better teams in the Big 12 and a genuinely solid program.

If Kiffin is the OG of disruptors, however, Coach Prime is running the game today.

When he arrived in Boulder, the premise looked simple: Sanders would coach his two boys, be the center of attention at all turns, and if he won a few games, all the better. When Oregon's Dan Lanning lambasted Colorado as a team playing for clicks rather than wins last year, it felt like an appropriate measure of Prime's priorities. And yet, here are the Buffs at 7-2, a mercenary group of transfers who other coaches dismissed as chasing NIL but who've emerged as arguably the hottest team in the country.

Shedeur Sanders threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns in the win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders, while Travis Hunter caught nine balls for 99 yards and a touchdown, all with his pants loaded down by tortillas.
