Eleven minutes of vigorous surf with nasty but enticing shorebreak.
John Minar, a reliable Wedge videographer, at Seal Beach. The spot's known for shorebreak.
Meanwhile, NE Fla was looking respectable 911 Surf.

Josh Pomer, another southern California surf observer. This is the 4-minute short version; you can also check the hour version.

A much more relaxed scene at Tourmaline Surf Park, north of Pacific Beach. High resolution 2354 x 1023.

2 minutes of big Santa Cruz. Drone, 2354 x 1033. 23rd. San Diego's Surfing Santas was almost entirely onshore.
San Diego, not in the swell. Also high resolution.

It's hard to believe that there are paddy wagons waiting on the beaches to put everyone who swings on the snakes to the jail. Look at all those dudes eyeing the wave that already has a guy pumping down the line.

20 minutes of Seal Beach shorebreak, Dec 24. The videographer is a regular at The Wedge. This is what Wabasso can provide some training for. High def.
My favorite of this bunch has been the drone footage from Santa Cruz, big and smooth, close the wharf that collapsed. Santa Cruz has plenty of devotees, including all the way from NW Oregon.
    More Josh Pomer.
At
Instagram, Brad Jacobson posted a photo of empty perfect waves with a comment that "no one could make it out".

Looking easy at Encinitas, except for being crowded. High res drone. Some good, unfancy longboard technique.
Santa Cruz footage is so smooth and the surfing too, that casual viewers might miss the size and energy of those waves.

That's insanity.

Brad Jacobson (still recovering from getting a spinal disk transplant in the neck) was busy filming the Eddie swell in California. High definition.
