Looks like Milton wiped out whatever sand had set up since Ian

Ugh. More onshore winds next week. Don't know if that will help or not.

Happens every time pretty much.

In Indian River Co., Wabasso and Vero South Beach have broad, flat swash zones for the moment. At South Beach, the lessening surf is at least momentarily starting to plump up the zone, making for a little overwash zone with occasional outlets for water that spills over. Probably to be re-flattened next week.

Cocoa Beach is jacked. Block long walls before the storm. Dribbling garbage after.

It's like the switch broke off the machine. Actually, it's switches. The one for direction and the one for intensity.

There was a great quote from Nat Young some time back.
About how to become a good surfer wasn't just surfing perfect, predictable surf.
"Not just when it's hot and glassy...."
Junk surf....but: are you surfing? In the water, running your machine?
Just have fun.

I surfed yesterday (vet day), would break on the outside then mush out. Bottoms are screwed. But, there are waves!
