Winters are a lot like coastal Oregon in terms of weather (winter is rainy season, temperatures similar), maybe not quite so much surf.
    Delta Airlines. Check Google Flights.
For more cold, fares to Halifax, Nova Scotia are the lowest ever from Orlando. Air Canada.
Update: Orlando to the Hawaiian airports on Delta via Salt Lake City. Delta has all sorts of late Sept to Dec bargains.

wow $282 on AA. that is cheap. Downside, it is not non stop so you go to Toronto for 8 hours. Love the non stop West Jet ( 2 hr flight) but I dont think they run that till winter. Driving up end of month for couple months.

I'm planning a visit to the Norfolk area, end of Sept. Creepily, I could expand that to 5 or 6 days and get a roughly $450 nonstop to London on Delta. In Sept!
Predictions of an early nor'easter wave mess (with short periods of offshore wind) are up at Surf-Forecast; Surfline is not expecting anything beyond 4'. Windy shows the European and GFS with extremely different scenarios for the Atlantic.
