Surfline and Surf-Forecast show peak energy (770-1000 kJ at Flagler Pier, similar for NSB) on Friday, with NE wind. Farther south, lower peak energy, but lasting into Monday. (9:30 pm Thurs evening)

North Cocoa Beach looks fun. Head plus on sets with open faces, even though there is a decent bumpiness from the North East wind.

Evening of Aug 16, Hatteras National Seashore reports yet another house collapse due to high surf at Rodanthe, seventh in four years. I looked at Surfline videos from Friday. I might be missing something, but it didn't seem a particularly big swell.

Ormond Beach for family. Early thumpy inside, later crumbly outside. Not spectacular, not flat.

Wowza Sunday was the real juice! Soo clean and glassy, plenty of makeable shoulders, except for some of the really long lines, and judging by the swell angle it appears this is from Thurs/Fri maybe? Anyways armz hurt.

I was in Daytona Sunday morning. Saturday had been short-period wind swell; Sunday was clean longer-period, not really big, but a delight to be in the water.
    Monday morning looks promising.

Literally 500 people put at ft pierce inlet. At least 100 had the Costco wave storm. It was like a big small day. Easy to get out, no current, no clean up sets and and about waist to chest. Sometimes head. Tons of Cabrons. Still got a bunch but literally pushed one guy off his foamie and surfed around many members of for traveling circus as they were still trying to paddle into my wave as I tick tacked by.

My thoughts exactly.

So if you are a surfer I wish you the prosperity that allows you more time to pursue the salt water dream, and the true happiness that comes from warm water, clean waves and the companionship of your fellow surfers. If you are an internet troll just spewing bs then f off.

Yesterday was one of best sessions I've had in a long time, so memorable. Classic hurricane juice.

Rights and lefts with open faces. That has been awhile.

Not to mention that the water was cool, there weren't sharks everywhere, the tide was right, there were no jellyfish, the wind stayed as it should and the seconds interval was just right. That never happens in Florida.

Cocoa Beach had a little eight second bump this morning until the tide got too high.
