The current version of the wet zone of the beach has lots of shell fragments, hard on my feet, so will wear fin socks or booties next visit. For now, the north end of the park is plumped out enough that the end of the seawall at the north boundary shouldn't make rip currents so easily (but still a trouble spot for lifeguards).
I think it might stay pretty intact until a hurricane swell. Saturday afternoon, about 3:30-5 pm, the onshore wind wasn't making much chop and the surf was mushy but pretty well organized at low tide.
The beach ramp is back. The stairs are also open. I didn't spot any shiny little blue bodies.
An artificial-looking angle in the sand at Disney.
