ww Posts: 16112 Joined Forum: 08/17/2007	Skip the first minute or so. The surf is not completely messy, nor is it extremely large by Cornwall standards (The Cribbar in Newquay. But there was plenty of beating and one wonders about getting out. Wave height is perhaps less important than wind-driven forward force. Rip currents along the rocks, I suppose. The existence of a sizable bunch of people willing and able to play in this heavy water is impressive, and I suspect a fairly recent development. Better wetsuits and, in Newquay, competent bodyboard training. Almost like watching the Wedge crowds. Edited: 11/27/2023 at 01:43 PM by ww
