A new to surfing friend was talking up his new stingfish and kept dropping that it has xx# liters of volume...and i was like whatever; how long, how wide and how thick?

Yes I bugged Tom N. to help me figure the volume of the recent 6'1" shred stick he shaped me (it worked so good this last swell). He slapped me and said go look on the web nerd.

Those estimators crack me up, according to them I should be riding in the range of 27L but the boards I prefer are in all in the 35L+ range

We live in the gold mine of surfboards, I'm amazed at how many people don't have a personal relationship with a shaper. Boards made for the way you surf are so much more enjoyable.
