" Costa Rica is joining the small list of countries opening to tourism from the United States -- but with some serious caveats.
The Central American country has announced that as of September 1, travelers from just six US states -- Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Vermont -- will be permitted to enter. Visitors will need a driver's license or equivalent government-issued ID from one of the six states in order to verify their residence.

A corona-virus topic might be appropriate. Here's the Southwest story from Fox4 news Dallas. By the way, Southwest did some weird automatic schedule changes recently. My October trip was redone as impossible both ways. They would likely have cleaned it up automatically, later.

Airline Weekly reported, Aug. 21, that Qantas doesn't expect to resume international flights (beyond NZ) until July 2021, and US flights until 2021, "and only if an effective vaccine or theraputic is found to control the spread of the disease."
