Guys thanks for the replies... going to check those places out! Do you guys in-the-know think those winds next week are going to mess with jobos to wildo? Looks like pretty strong out of NE/ENE... I was thinking about trying to stay further down toward tres palmas, seems to be offshore there.

talk to Tom Luker.  787-509-3440 or 787-997-3349.  Cheap rooms and has PR dialed in.

The swell will be too west at first for Jobos and middles, maybe the swell will come from a more northerly direction as it starts to fade though. The rock at Jobos does a pretty good job at blocking the wind for the most part. Wildos will probably be clean in the mornings and windy in the afternoons. A lot of times if Middles is blown out mid day Wildos will still be clean for a little while longer because it faces more west. Wind forecasts are super hard to predict, so I wouldn't put too much faith in the current forecast, but for the most part there are calm winds in the morning and then ENE-NE trade winds in the afternoon. Sometimes a rain shower will lighten the wind.

fishnsurf--for next week-Monday-Wed you'll be wanting to stay in Rincon, swell and wind will be good the the Rincon area, Maria's-Dogmans also the downtown Aguadilla area, strong trades on the north coast. Thursday-Saturday I'd be heading to the north coast Hope can handle size!!! 2nd---Tom Luker. 787-509-3440 or 787-997-3349 Tip

Guys thanks for all the info, what a great resource! I do feel bad calling tom lurker, i see his place is outside of rincon and I'm really trying to make the stay there happen. That area should be fun, and i've already done the jobos/surfers beach/wildo thing, looking for a different experience this time (plus those waves will be happening i think!) Tip, you seem to be really in the know in Rincon, and recommendations for Rincon accommodations? So far it's just me an one other guy, preferring to save money and not do a resorty thing, but would like to be in an ok location, and pretty set on rincon.

This time of year you won't have any problems finding as place in Rincon, stayed last year at Pools Beach Cabanas, Nice roomy place just steps from the beach, also has a pool & Sushi Bar. Dennis Rich is the owner, great guy and good surfer!! Pools Beach Cabanas

Villa Palma in the Sandy's area, can get a good deal because it is early in the season, The Lazy Parrot is OK but a bit pricey.  VBRO the rincon area is a good choice as well.

Hey everyone, Thanks for all your input, you've made it a lot easier for me here and trips to pr in the future. In the middle of booking on VRBO, found a sick spot up in the hill above marias, 5 minutes from domes, we're stoked. Trying to figure out rental car right now, the only thing that concerns me is the timing of our flights (at airport before 4am both ways), or i would just walk around when i get there. Hoping we'll be able to grab a car at those wild times. Going to call charlies I think. Swell forecast went down a bit, 6ft or so at 12s.... I'm thinking we'll still have fun

The guys that fly in on the middle of the night flight can be found napping in their rental cars at Surfer'Beach. Looks like a great swell. Hoping for the same during Thanksgiving week.

6 ft @ 12 sec will be decent size down there for sure.  Just south of Maria's is a "boat ramp" if you want to call it that.  Just outside the jetty is a right hand point break style wave that only breaks when Rincon gets big.  It'll be smaller than everywhere else, but crazy fun!  Check it out!

I believe you are speaking of Little Malibu?
Yes, can be really hollow and super fun when there is size. Don't fall! Keep your feet up and hold up your leash - very shallow elkhorn and fire coral. Sick rides and super fun. Seen plenty of cuts there.

That's the place.. Definately correct about the shallow coral.  Fall flat or bail off the back.

yeah I have heard of that spot... I'll have to scope it out! And for closure, I'll have a report when I get back!

If I were you I wouldn't fall at all. Bottom turn around coral heads. The deeper you take off, the more shallow and more hollow it is. I've pulled out of waves (laying on the board immediately) and fins stuck on coral heads.

Not a big enough swell for it to break.

Mostly rights on the west coast, but are there any lefts worth checking out when the northwest swell is pumping?

Why go small when you can have big? Backyard of the Black Eagle restaurant, really good but pricey
