Their is a Turkish slaughter of Kurds in Syria. I just watched Rand Paul tell Meet the Press that their bloody purge was inevitable and that trump removed the American troops to spare them the same fate. He threw in that in that all Kurds are not the same, this is historic conflict that's gone on for a hundred years and there is no solution. He comforted himself with the idea that our military blood and treasure squandered there could be used to build infrastructure in the US without borrowing from China. It's basically a libertarian goal instead of a senator's assessment of a foreign policy mistake based upon a phone call from erdogan instead of a reasoned decision with his generals input.
