Here's the Law That Requires Mnuchin to Turn Over Trump's Taxes, or Lose His Office and Go to Prison

Under Section 6103 of our tax code, Treasury officials "shall" turn over the tax returns "upon written request" of the chair of either congressional tax committee or the federal employee who runs Congress's Joint Committee on Taxation.

There is, however, a law requiring every federal "employee" who touches the tax system to do their duty or be removed from office.

The crystal-clear language of this law applies to Trump, acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, Mnuchin and Rettig, federal employees all.

This is off topic but how about Trump telling the head of border protection to not worry about breaking the law because he will pardon him if he were sent to jail for having border agents block asylum seekers from entering the US in defiance of US law. The current loose usage of the term has strayed a bit. Komrad chump flouts their wisdom on a weekly basis.
As to the tax codes cited: they were written, with precisely a dirtball like your loofah messiah in mind. In the 20's, when chumpf types abused our economic system and our legal systems. Straight into the great depression.
The laws are well thought out and written. They are unequivocal and should be bulletproof in front of a "conservative" court.
