Fishy remains a huge USFL fan. You know, the league trump killed with his business acumen and big ideas about competing with the NFL.

There is a distinction you are deliberately avoiding. The government cannot force a loyalty oath. There is an amendment specifically addressing that.

If the NFL owners required a loyalty oath, as a condition of employment, it would be illegal for the same reason. Trump was asking the owners to break the law.

How is trump right when he says there were good people and bad people on the side white supremacists but any NFL player who feels like their country has failed them so much that they want to sit for the pledge should all be fired? That contradiction cannot be explained as one form of racism is bad but the other is acceptable.
