Wrong, one side did not show up to resist, they showed up to fight! What were they resisting? What were they being forced to do? You ride this moral high horse about slavery, something that ended over 150yrs ago and not one of us, much less our great grandfathers owned slaves or were slaves. None of us has been effected by it, or even participated in it.  You'll scream and call for the removal of statues, because of their relationship to slavery, but turn a blind eye to the fact Washington owned slaves. You blame the white man for slavery, but are ignorant to the fact it was a black man who was the first slave owner in this country. The amount of racism in this country pales in comparison to what it was in the 60s (well, maybe not so much anymore thanks to all of this "progress"). Now, the left has given the WSDs even more of a spotlight, and are stirring up their masses even more. Which will be met with even more violence, which you support. But, I'm the ignorant one.

We are literally watching history being removed/whitewashed, we literally have a party in place that "is always right," and any opposition is met with force. And we literally have a media/propaganda machine in full effect broadcasting narratives instead of reporting, and any reporting had a strong bias to it. The one and only dissenting news source is ridiculed, and any factual reporting done by them is delegitimizated because of the source. Now, we have an "event" that is in danger of being the catalyst, for it gives the Left a false flag to rally against (let's blame Trump! Let's blame "white privilege!"
