This could be Russian operatives eliminating witnesses. This guy might not have been a leaker but a mole. There is plenty of speculation on who murdered him and why, but it's an absolute fact Russia was hacking the DNC's computers and funneling the dirlty laundry directly to wiki leaks to compromise Hillary Clinton and give the information a false pedigree like it was leaked by an honest whistle blower instead of the truth: it was stolen by Russian state actors.

You guys might want to give this stuff some time to see how it plays out before you go making up your minds about things. IP addresses can be spoofed. Phone numbers can be spoofed. I would stay a bit more open-minded about all of this until we have more information. Just because you want a scenario to be true and there is a chance of it being true doesn't mean that you should assume that is the case and that this is an open and shut case. I want the truth, regardless of whether or not the truth disappoints me.
