Ever beat one to death when an ax because you didn't want the neighbors to call the cops for you discharging a firearm in a sub-division at 2AM? My landlord back in DeLand did that when there were a bunch coming in from Blue Spring SP and ripping up the yard. There were five in the yard and he snuck up behind one that was about the size of a golden retriever and beat it to death. You should have heard the thump-squeal-thump-squeal-crack squish. I was asleep and woke up to the noise. The other four bolted. Didn't have a hog on the property for the rest of the time that I lived there. 

He had a 30/30 slung over his shoulder just in case. But damn.
