Currently im filling out stuff with Visa to get my money back because i bought a hat for somebody for Christmas and now since they said its not in stock that they will not give me my money back but store credit. I argued with them but they seem to not want to credit my money back because THEY are the ones who do not have this product in stock. Nothing on there site said out of stock and now they will not return the money even though THEY do not have the product. What a fraud.

That is fraud.

I wouldn't be suprized if they try and charge you a 20% "restocking fee"

Hands down one of the worst Return Policies I have ever seen.
You can guarantee I'll never order a thing from that site.



Return & Exchange Policy

Customers may return merchandise for exchange or store credit only! NO REFUNDS!
Customers must pay all shipping costs associated with returns and exchanges.
All returns & exchanges require a Return Authorization from Boardparadise before you send the item(s) back.

yes it is...im taking the hit because they do not keep there site updated.
I already working with Visa on this. I just wanted to make it clear not to buy from these people.

man, my buddy just got a board from there, he ordered a JS and supposedly there were no problems...but that sucks, that policy is total bs.

if its not in stock, are they going to order it and ship it or drop ship it to you? Was that the understanding or were you under the impression that you would have it in a few days? What was promised? Have they already ordered it for you? seems to me there is more to this story. There is plenty of time until xmas for something that needs to be ordered, especially wholesale by a retail site/ store. Now if they said it was on back-order and there was no way to get it to your buddy by xmas, then I agree that they should give back your money. Unless the hat is special, seems to me if I was stuck I'd get something else that they actually have (if they have anything in stock at all!) and after you get it spread the word about them like you are doing now. As a matter of fact, I'd email this thread to a manager in customer service.

FYI: It looks like anything tied to this "Boarders Paradise" store are piss poor in the customer service area (some of this is boderline theft IMO), seems to be an ongoing pattern...no wonder these clowns have serveral aliases:

There isn't anymore to the story. I have all the receipts that state that this will be shipped to me. They said the site stated "Out of Stock" which it does now, BUT when you order it now you get a statement saying "Out of Stock" unlike the one I got that said Thanks will be shipping it to you. I have both print outs to prove it. Very poor customer serve too. They wouldn't even let me talk to a manager or anything......they made the mistake with there site now they will not give me my $$ back. Very Poor

Thanks Marcg for posting that. Very poor customer service. This site is about the owner first. Very poor. Im writing a few different agencies in regards to this matter so i can get my $$ back. The manager was suppose to call back but I did not get a call....now when I call they don't even answer the phone. Please spread the word about this site!!!!!

I already talked with Visa to dispute the charge. Its not so much the $$ but the principle. After reading the reviews it seems many others have had the exact same thing happen.

Thanks ghostofbillsurf..i would try to do that but nobody answers the phone, returns e-mails, or calls me back.....

If Visa doesnt work i will report them to the better business bureau.

Not satisfied after going through appropriate channels: speaking with manager etc? Contact NJ Better Business Bureau
Filing a complaint with the BBB will usually prompt very quick action if your complaint is somewhat legit.

learn a lesson, with all identity theft, and this.... Just head to your local surf shop and buy it... You will get customer sevice there as well as helping local business stay in business... U never know when u need something right away.

BTW- last year at xmas i had lots of parents who ordered thru CCS, and they ship u the next best alternative, which is not what kids wanted...

Seems to me that their "Return Policy" clearly states NO REFUNDS, but jtmoney is not in a situation where the "Return Policy" applies...after all, they didn't have the produce in the FIRST place, so how can they point him to their "Return" policy? He doesn't have anything to return!

Thanks for the heads-up; they'll get no business out of me either.

That's ok Mama G. I said your local surf shop... since u and many others are not close by, BH wouldn't be your local shop...

You can include, Goods, Capesurf, A1A surf, Cocoa beach surf and Skate, QF, NA, Neilson shop, Ocen Sports World, Red Dog surf shop, Surf Station, Compound, and many others

Any of these can save you from fraud!!!
