surf was kinda fun at dawn. 2-4 feet. Long lines, mostly closing out, but possible to catch shoulder. long wait between sets. wind was calm, but now blowing NW'ish. incoming tide is probably gonna get better.

In the water by 6:45. Me and 5 friends. Overhead perfection on the sets. Nice drops on the short rights and lefts cranking. Made the paddle out at 7:45 totally stoked.

Surfed down south early then checked a few spots on the way in, nowhere near as big or as good as last Sat.  So if you're pulling on your oar at work, relax bro, it's ok.  Also a few spots looked super croweded already, as in laugh out loud are you freekin kidding me crowded.

This is comforting, BUT nothing replaces surfing.

Yep. I was lucky enough to get my fill before it got "freekin kidding me crowded."

Fun at paradise this morning, paddled out at 630.  Im 6'4 and some of the sets were head high on me, yes they were rare, but there was an occasional sneaker coming through.  Avg was chest high.  Super fun on the Baked Potato, by far my favorite groveler.

I'm starting to love my BP, esp. in glassy waves.  Have you ridden a Potatonator as the next step up? I'd be interested in the comparison.

I believe head high down south, it was waist-chest up here in CB and with the long period I bet PAFB and south was chest+ easily.

Yes went to one spot at 7 and could not believe the number of people on it (where Monday morning it was just a few).  Maybe something about Fridays?

Moved to another spot in Satellite and got plenty.  It seemed a north wind was coming?

Head high in satellite if you're 12 years old.

Waist - chest closeouts right now
