surf was kinda fun at dawn. 2-4 feet. Long lines, mostly closing out, but possible to catch shoulder. long wait between sets. wind was calm, but now blowing NW'ish. incoming tide is probably gonna get better.

In the water by 6:45. Me and 5 friends. Overhead perfection on the sets. Nice drops on the short rights and lefts cranking. Made the paddle out at 7:45 totally stoked.

Surfed down south early then checked a few spots on the way in, nowhere near as big or as good as last Sat.  So if you're pulling on your oar at work, relax bro, it's ok.  Also a few spots looked super croweded already, as in laugh out loud are you freekin kidding me crowded.

This is comforting, BUT nothing replaces surfing.

Fun at paradise this morning, paddled out at 630.  Im 6'4 and some of the sets were head high on me, yes they were rare, but there was an occasional sneaker coming through.  Avg was chest high.  Super fun on the Baked Potato, by far my favorite groveler.

I'm starting to love my BP, esp. in glassy waves.  Have you ridden a Potatonator as the next step up? I'd be interested in the comparison.

I believe head high down south, it was waist-chest up here in CB and with the long period I bet PAFB and south was chest+ easily.

Yes went to one spot at 7 and could not believe the number of people on it (where Monday morning it was just a few).  Maybe something about Fridays?

Moved to another spot in Satellite and got plenty.  It seemed a north wind was coming?

Small wave perfection for about an hour with no one out.  It looked liked closeouts from the beach, but they weren't!  Crazy long rides and long walks back up the beach.

It's was only waist high at my spot, but truly fun and not closing out.  Although it completely shut down when the tide start moving in.

Ha, I know - he is such a classic. It was fun there even if the shoulders were a bit hard to find.

GO with Tip:
Saturday ENE swell at waist to chest high with 10-15mph ESE/SE winds.

He shows the day in Green, which is so so.

Front page pics were taken somewhere
between Perkins and RC's

1st pic ~ 7:15
2nd pic ~ 11:00

There were some chest + to head high
but it seemed the more size they had
the longer the line was, ... and if you weren't
on the shoulder of those larger ones, it was a closeout.

Fun 3-1/2hr morning

I got three sessions in today. All on the 5-6 egg which was plenty.

Dawn patrol just south of the pier was thigh to waist mostly closeouts (and to the kook and his kook friends - no, laird and the other 'big names' don't surf there and shoot the pier - lol listening to the conversations at the pier this morning was a tons of fun!).

Dropped the kid off at school and had a way better sesh at the streets where things seems to be holding up better in the rib high range. Had a meeting and had to leave at 10 and was thinking I was gonna miss the best of it.

Scored REALLY lucky north of High tower with a high tide after lunch sesh in the very head high range. Yes, 2ft at 14 sec on high tide at the mighty P's will in fact do that. By 3 the north wind was mixing a couple of oceans worth of water together and it was no longer worth doing.

2/3 sesh's with minimal crowds and silly talk

= really good day!
