Sick board Tom let me demo today. It was super super fun. One of the funnest boards I have ever ridden! Its like a giant bar of soap. It paddles and catches waves like a longboard. you can hang five on it and even throw some chunks all on the same wave. I had a blast on it and def plan on getting one for the summer. http://www.tomneilsonshapes.com/surfboards/blunt.php -------------------------

Git one... A buddy of mine who owns one calls it the "Spork." Mine's a little fatter than the norm (6-4 x 23.5 x 3, Stringerless, Vacuum bagged EPS/Epoxy): ------------------------- |

Is it just my imagination, or is that bottom concaved like the Grand Canyon from nose to tail? Got a photo shot from either end? ------------------------- That boy's got somethin' wrong with his medulla oblongata. |

It's not subtle, that's for sure. I should have put a level across it before taking this shot:

I got one about 3 weeks ago, perfect summer board I love it! I was catching knee high waves with no problem. Glides great like a LB and can carve like a SB. Between this and my Flying Floaty Fish I should be good for summer. Def a great investment. |

Fun looking board, but I want to know if you'll post the instructions for the killer looking stand? Does that have hinges in the middle? Looks a lot cooler than my broke down saw horses.

Yeah, Roger on "the blunt" design. I've been sup/surfing a 9' 6" sup model of "the blunt" shaped by Tom too. It easily catches waves, turns on a dime, and flat water paddles very well. The board works in everything.

I don't have plans for the rack. A buddy of mine built it from one that he had bought several years ago that is no longer available - he made it for me as part of a trade deal (he's in New Jersey so it'd be impractical to have him make one and ship it but I will provide his contact info if anyone wants that - just PM me). At some point I'll get it out and take photos of it with a tape measure so the builder types amongst us can have a go at one. I use it a lot. It folds completely flat: each end piece is hinged and the center is as well. The only thing I'd change is to widen the base and the top to make it a little sturdier. I've never had anything fall but I'd feel more comfortable making those adjustments. ------------------------- |
