He was in a 4300lb car, with locks and everything.  He wasn't attacked, his car may have been but he wasn't personally struck and wasn't in any danger from a baseball bat.  Besides, what was he doing driving down a road filled with protesters  anyway?  He could have stopped and turned around or just been smart enough to stay away from the protest area. 

What he did was done on purpose, it wasn't an accident.

 

Not that it really matters but I wish it wasn't a Challenger - saw a nice gray one (Destroyer Grey?) on the road today and felt a little sad for the guy driving it.
