IQ is an accurate predictor as to how the tester will function in the average American classroom. Idiotboy's cut and paste was a decent summary as to the mean and the standard deviation. Cole's reported scores are consistent with what one would expect as the reported scores are similar. If he were placed in a public school system, Cole would be considered "gifted."

SAT or GRE scores can also be used to calculate IQ and enter Mensa.
They don't have to be all that high. Given that both are proven to be highly teachable, IQ as a measure of innate intelligence is suspect, very culturally biased.
