In the beach department, a remake of "Baywatch" In the serious beach department, Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk." Secretive, but given the director's track record, likely must-watch. There's also Guy Ritchie's version of King Arthur with Jude Law as a bad guy. "The Bad Batch" set in a Texas wasteland with cannibals. "Wind River" near what used to be home in Wyoming. "The Battleship Island" about Koreans plotting near the end of World War II to save Koreans imprisoned as slave labor on the island of Hashima. It showed up in a recent Bond movie. Google it.

Eagles swoop down from the sky to fend off hostile armed guards. Venomous snakes swell to Kraken-esque dimensions. Giant elephants stomp into battle and knock down bridges with wrecking balls, which is a pretty good metaphor for director Guy Ritchie's nothing-sacred approach to Arthurian myth... |
