The 120 mile buoy jumped a couple of hours ago. Same period but from 4.6 to 6.2 13 sec. We should see it start building early this afternoon.

Sorry, I said it is getting better. Not that it already is. By friday morning we should have a nice NE swell angle.

Yeah, it's a bit windier up here than called for..... hopefully we don't get hosed. I'm sure you guys south of the cape will be fine. When it's big, lt onshores are pretty minor. Swell's still on the rise. Unfortunately I think it peaks overnight Swell Height (SwH): 8.9 ft Swell Period Swell Period (SwP): 14.8 sec.... she's about due East of St. Augustine. Wish she would slow down a bit NOW, instead of when she hits land, and terrorizes the Carolinas

7.2 ft 16 sec at the 20 4 pm. Swell direction still east.

Might have to take a stroll on the beach this evening just to see it.

Where I checked the waves were quite makeable, but maybe it was just that the surfers were really good.

I'm sorry 9 foot at 16 seconds must be a typo, that never happens in Florida that's like Hawai'i shitt... But seriously just took my dog for nite walk on beach and can tell it's picked up a lot even since earlier session around 6pm. I think DP tommorow gonna be aghhhh, then all day Friday looks better- little smaller but favorable winds ( note I'm living north of Daytona now, not Brevard so dunno if winds difference?? ) Stay safe & stoked all

-------------------------

get up early and go surf - it'll make that hangover go away and/or make the workday more tolerable :)

yeah, we may get hosed by winds up here (I'm too jammed up with work to drive south (still working)..... anyway, just picked up my custom 6-5 round pin.... hopefully I'll need it. Judging by the 10-12' @ 16 on the EC I just might

????? Todays pics from The Poles look damn good

911 Surf Report

Could be a wind direction thing ...... 911 is calling it WNW, which is way more offshore at The Poles than St. Auggie ..... plus it is The Poles

Ditto: Vis at 5:30 was only looking like 2 lines with a rare 3 at Watson and BW. Wasn't hearing any 11' Freight Trains then - if anything it was smaller than 6pm - but no light to see the outside and if the train was heading south...

9.8 feet and 16 seconds average from 5:40 to 6:40 PM yesterday. 5.6 feet and 10,8 seconds average from 9:40 to 10:40 this morning. That happened fast.

Not anywhere near as big as I thought based on the buoy readings. But that is probably a good thing at least where I surfed. My buddy called it 6 to 8. Clean with nice form. Stoked!
