Why wait for tomorrow when you can surf today! I confirm Certon's (upper) rib high late evening sets. Crowd of two people ...and LOTS of active sea life. On it for pre-work dawn patrol in the morning.

Really small today in satellite

Edit: As in not even breaking outside at dead low tide small. Though I am sure someone will post a picture of one wave that may have come in over the course of an hour that was waist high and claim it was head+ where they are....

Take the expectation down, get some float and paddle out for some summer fun. South Streets : knee to waist. Incoming may produce something slightly better.

Look to the east, its just getting started.

Finally an accurate report. I live near Ocean Ave. 1-2 feet at best (ankle to knee), even at dead low tide. Sigh........

As luck would have it, my daughter is in labor in Orlando and I plan to be over there this evening to meet my newest grandson.  This of course means the surf will be pretty darn good this evening.  It also stands to reason that my plans to take off work tomorrow for surf means the swell won't last thru the night or that the wind will be on shore tomorrow.

We bottom fished. We loaded the cooler.

Huge strawberry groupers, mutton snapper, yellow tails, ocean tallys, ect.

We also fished 300 plus feet with electric reels.

We caught yellow eyes and button snapper.

A few cirro makrel swam by and got those.

I got smoked a few time as well by something big??

awesome!

Tried to overnight near the Middle Grounds last week with friends..... got denied by weather 20 miles out.... then came back to a trailer with a flat tire..... fixed that, then the trucks serpentine belt snapped as we drove around the corner.

Your trip was way more fun

Tide push will be starting soon. Hopefully it will get better.

The 20 and 120 has been fairly consistent so I wouldn't expect much of a bump from increase swell size. Only hope is the tide push.

A small bit of info:

I was fishing the West end of the Grand Bahama Bank yesterday(Sunday) and there was no sign of any swell at all.

Tide push and morning sickness going away helped some.

Long wait between sets, but a couple of the bigger ones were pushing rib high. Most waves in the thigh to waist high range though. Not a lot of juice unfortunately.

<<Lil' late to the salt mine this morning.

Had to look around a little (some super secret spots breaking better than others), but found some uncrowded waist - rib high (on spaced out sets) fun glassy waves.

OK, now B/T/W....

In the water at sunrise, got an hours worth before work. Rinse, later and repeat of last nights rib ticklers except there were three people out instead of two, which I was able to suffer through spread over a 1/4 mile of beach. Day 10 out of the last 11 surfing - maybe not "just like Pipe" and I did not get a trophy, or even a participation ribbon, but with no prospect of travel in the next 6 month, I'll take it.

I surfed the stomach-high sets early this am in Sat Bch.
Long wait but worked for me.
Lotsa reforming thigh to waist high reforms
When I left at 10 the outside sets had settled down but the mid break was improving up with some fun thigh to waist runners

yesterday evening, swell hit, storms parted, glass off, no crowd. The rathunter was nowhere to be found.

Last night was the bomb, 3 people out where I was. I surfed until I couldn't physically see the waves anymore. Gotta love after the storm/evening glass off!

Kinda fun at the streets this morning with some rib high stuff but mostly waist high. Plenty of close-outs but every once in a while a shoulder and line would come through. Left me wanting for some reason.
