A new one for me, Ive had a nice plant from Target for about a month now. Put it in a large pot on the porch. I have read they are difficult in Florida but not impossible. Supposed to shield them from the hot afternoon sun and give them lots of water. Mine gets full morning sun and is in the shade by eleven AM. This should help come June/July/august. I read you can actually change the color from a pink bloom to a blue one if you change the pH of the soil. Anyone having any luck with these? So far I have fed it with a fert for acid loving plants. Wondering if it would benifit from an occasional soak with some Peters 20/20/20? The leaves are dark green and it looks very healthy. Any tips from an experienced hydangea vet would be appreciated. TIA, DT
