Trump dropped another one into the fan, this time it's Russia. For whatever reason, this one is sticking, so it won't belong before we see damage control shift into high gear. There is already talk that Russia is our friend and we should work with, instead against them.

If this is the case, then please explain the following quotes:

"Putin must be punished for his outlaw actions and the Russian people and elites must recognize they will pay a price for them." - Tom Cotton
