Oh god.... they're back. Daily walk to end of my street and was dismayed to see all the heavy equipment parked on a freshly graded staging area in preperation for beach restoration. Yup, big trucks up and down the beach just in time for winter break. Talked with guys doing the work and they said this time they are acually using sand instead of the dirt they used last time.
