Newquay, Cornwall, England. It has a direct train to London, attracts badly-behaved young adults, there's complaints about badly overcrowded beaches . . . And you walk into the spiffy new Sainsbury's supermarket and the first thing you see, hiding the precious strawberries:
Short walk from Fistral Beach, which mostly had too much wind and mushy waves, up to about 6'. Huge tidal range, very gently sloping beach. I was taking meds for a small corneal ulcer. Should have brought along a longer camera lens. |
