Didn't do any significant price checks, apart from ritual souvenir t-shirts. My collection of Gildan t-shirts has grown. Central Florida Palm & Cycad Society, Ainu Museum in Hokkaido, Japan, Northshore Surfshop in Newquay. Must be the t-king. Looked like clothing prices, list at least, are higher in the UK, despite the great exchange rate. BTW, Hurley has had some wetsuit sale prices lately; also worth checking Swell for some Patagonia prices. An online "club" retailer, Left Lane Sports, has an Xcel sale. Looks like England's having a heat wave. I made it to the beach just in time. Norwegian is now offering weekly nonstop flights, Orlando to London-Gatwick. There's cheap flights from Gatwick to Newquay airport. It might also be pretty easy to get to Newquay airport via Dublin (cheap flights via Aer Lingus). Of course from Florida, I think there's access to whole lot of better surf, cheaper. Edited: 06/18/2017 at 03:55 PM by ww |
