I just bought a new firespike and planted in a spot that gets direct afternoon sun, so its getting probably 6 - 7 hours of direct sun a day. Is this too much for a firespike? I know they can grow in shade, but can they grow in full sun like that?
Thanks |

They like water, so water might be an issue more than sun. Floridata. They can grow pretty rampantly, so energetic late winter/early spring pruning is a good idea. |

Thanks ww. I should probably move it while I can. If it gets too tall where it is, it will probably block my motion sensor light.
