As I entered the water Aug 31 to catch some waves in Melbourne Beach, I was surrounded by 4" fingers jumping for "safety," it was low-ish tide. That was my first siting this fall of any significant amount in the surf.

They are moving through Cocoa Beach as we speak (north wind). People are getting snook in the upper streets, which is kind of rare.

I heard that too, Duff had reported he caught a few around the pier, and my friend near 4th north caught a couple smaller 20" fish.

Maybe the poor water quality in the BRL has pushed them out in the surf?

Seems usually this time of year when coming across the bridges you see lots of action in the water. I have seen none. No birds, nothing. Its either a late run or the mess in the IR has taken its toll.

So if you are a surfer I wish you the prosperity that allows you more time to pursue the salt water dream, and the true happiness that comes from warm water, clean waves and the companionship of your fellow surfers. If you are an internet troll just spewing bs then f off.

Huge trains of mullet heading south get in on the action before this next storm, could be a quick run this fall judging by the volumes moving right now.

People running across A1A with fishing rods all week down by me. Looks like a hurricane swell showed up minus the boards and waves with everyone running over there to fish.
