I am hearing the words: Economic Suicide.

Jeff Gundlach recently said:
" We are increasing the size of the deficit while we are raising interest rates , late in an economic cycle."

The dollar is falling, oil prices are rising. The gap between the 10 year treasury and the German bund equivalent is over 200 bps.

Add in trade wars and an increasingly desperate China. Not to mention an irrational Russia.

You think Hurricane Florence is going to cause massive destruction? You aint seen notin yet.

The GOP and many Dems are pigs at the trough and the frenzy continues. Tax cuts when economy is flying, Twitler dogging the interest rate hikes. Defense spending still increasing (FEMA needs some dough). It is unnerving. Maybe with a little luck...

At least the banks will be too big to fail...again...

Bank profits jumped by 25% in the second quarter, mostly because of the lower rates due to tax cuts,

WASHINGTON, Sept 13 (Reuters) - The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits unexpectedly fell last week, hitting its lowest level in nearly 49 years and pointing to robust labor market conditions.

So what - he needs to go regardless.. About time we (re)learnt the consequences and important lesson about what happenes when you elect a fuckup into office.. Think that we would have learnt our lesson in '00 with the coup de grace occurring in 07/08.. Obviously we still have lessons to learn.. The gop has consistently fucked up and let the market over heat by giving tax breaks to those who deserve it least and allowing our deficit go through the roof.. Pouring gasoline on a fire is not productive and only leaves you in a worse place in the end.. The only way to really drive the economy up permanently (without a bubble) are giving true raises tied to inflation to the rank and file grunts (not one time bonuses). That $ gets injected back directly back into the economy quick time, and really does 'lift all boats' (including fat cars). The fat cats put their excess cash into stocks, ira's etc - and leave some for their kids if they have any. Ever noticed what party that most people without kids belong to?

It was important to give tax breaks to "the "donors" who couldn't spend what they already had.
