So, I had paid little attention to buzz in the MSM but, I watch a CNN segment last night. The upcoming primaries could be a disaster for Dems in certain districts. California is an "Open" primary; you vote for who you want, regardless of Party. So? Well, in certain districts there are multiple Dem candidates while there are only 1 or 2 Rep candidates? Problem is that the 2 top candidates with the most votes goes to the general election, regardless of party. 100 Dems vote for 4 candidates, each gets 25 votes. 80 Reps vote for 2 candidates, each gets 40 votes. NO Dems in the general election!!!!
