Putting billionaires and their bankers in charge of government and the economy is the leading cause of 3rdworldification.

The CR needed 60 votes in the Senate to pass.  That is how it works.  And although it receveived a majority, it didn't get 60.  So it didn't pass and is why there is a shutdown.  BTW, my question was retorical becasue I already knew you you didn't know what you were talking about, and as such it required no response.

The nuclear option is now on the table.  The Senate can bring for a vote the option of passing the CR with a simple majority vote, and that will be that.  The Seante simply has to wait for the Democrats to STFU.  If and when they shut up and that happens, rather than whine about you can thank the Democrats for inventing it and first using it in 2013.

I have to learn to stop under estiamating liberal stupidity, and that an intelligent response should never be expected.  I also have rememeber that trying to explain simple things to the liberal left is like trying to teach a pig to sing.  The pig only gets irritated and sqeals.
