Good God Tpap is a moron..

He does have a knack for being on the wrong side of everything 100 percent of the time.. I'll give him that.

But if you aren't a Verizon / Spectrum CEO, and you are for this, you are simply a dullard.

Maybe it won't be so bad.
Maybe it's not another surrender of public property to private interests.
Maybe the internet will even get better, faster, more diverse
Maybe Comcast and Bright House won't throttle some content in favor or of their own
Maybe the idea that you are paying for bandwidth to use as you wish is quant and obsolete.
Maybe we will find some way to slow down the flow of fake news.

I guess we are gonna find out.

OBAMA

This is true.
It was at the suggestion of Mitch McConnell, a truly bipartisan act on the part of President Obama. Democrats took lots of telecom money too.

How will, well, they tossed it out, so let me start again. . . . How does opening the market to the highest bidder benefit the average American?

Can someone please post a link to the positive in this action?

As far as, ' not a Repub or Dem thing,' that's 100 percent wrong. Most, if not all of us on the left see this as a bad thing and again, most of us used this as a reason to skip over Trump in the election. This is no surprise. This is a campaign promise.

I have read about this. In my little mind and world I don't see this affecting me one bit. So I have decided in this current climate that if does not affect me I could care less. My life was just fine before the net and will be just fine no matter what happens to it.

I would actually be happy to get rid of all these streaming surf cams. Let's go back to the old thumbs up for good surf thumbs down for bad surf days!!

Actually, some of the providers were caught throttling speeds, which will now just be part of business.

You people really need to look for more legitimate sources.

Just wait till they start blocking porn sites. lol

Love seeing progs panic. It is a wonderful thing. And they are doing it so much these days! It is a great time to be alive.

No one is panicking you unmitigated tool of ignorance.

GOP:  We are raising your internet costs, raising your healthcare costs, and selling out the environment all the while endorsing misogynists and pedophiles.

Tspank:  "Hooray I voted for it! Has anyone seen my squatty potty?"

Was that in the bill? I'd vote for that.

So if you are a surfer I wish you the prosperity that allows you more time to pursue the salt water dream, and the true happiness that comes from warm water, clean waves and the companionship of your fellow surfers. If you are an internet troll just spewing bs then f off.

OBAMA

Haha that's ridiculous. Two reasons why: 1. Trump is erasing anything Obama has done so if your statement is true Trump would have stopped the guy. 2. Why would Obama place someone in there that he knew would disable rules he put in place to protect citizens. You're blaming the wrong person for sure.

thats exactly my point. they do the same thing. this isnt rep vs dem its consumer vs big business. im not blaming anybody. i'm just making a point to all the crybaby dems that think this is trumps doing. and making a point to all the reps that exactly this doesnt make sense. the party lines divide the voters but not the executive branch and the judicial branch

your comments are exactly my point... you guys think this is dem vs rep but this isn't. it just goes to show how little the fed cares abou the consumer. it isn't like obama spent days deciding on who would be a good fit for the FCC. obama was like yeah whatever. then trump is like yeah whatever. it isnt obama vs trump.

80% of voters that were polled opposed it. this is both dem and rep voters aren't happy about it. but they are pandering to the misinformed and say it is an "obama-era" thing so all the reps say it must be bad. its pandering.

HAPDIGITAL MAKING MY POINT THANKS BUD

left see it as bad because it is a human rights issue

right sees it as good because it pisses the dems off

thats how stupid both groups are is you guys are both arguing while constitutional rights are being removed

You have given TWC, spectrum, brighthouse, att, comcast, sprint control of the internet. it will affect you. you just cant see past tomorrow. all of the small businesses that were systematically destroyed by big box retailers suffered happend in the 80s and 90s. regan and bush ran on that fact, that they were going to stop that and fight for the people. that never happened. Most reps didnt like this in the 80s 90s becaue it directly affected small business and it gave the fed too much power. reps really want to increase state rights and remove the fed rights. thats what the south was fighting for in the civil war on some level, the right for states to do whatever they want. this is the exact same thing that is happening except on the internet scale. the fed is getting stronger.

seems like you just can't wrap your head around the fact that something that is bad for dem voters may also be bad for rep voters.
