Well, actually I did have something else happen last weekend....I really like Bass Pro shop. I usually just get a cart and start shopping. So I'm walking in and there is this dude in front of me, getting a cart also. He is wearing a camo hat ( like everyone else in the place) jeans, and a shirt with fish on the back. ( again pretty typical) However, I'm picking up an odur that is kind of like well...old mullet or squid. I also notice that the dude's shirt has what looks like fish blood stains on it. MMMMM Also wearing shades inside.

So I just head on down the aisle. I pick up a new stradic , a baitrunner 6500, a gloomis snook rod, some gulp, just some stuff. I see the same dude loading up. I pass him in an aisle and notice what he has in his basket:
Several gaffs, ( not just the ones with the hook end but one with the harpoon end also,) several knives, large cast net, and quite a lot of rope..

I just walk by to get a new tackle box. I am just cruising and thinking....What about that new gun law? I can carry at work. I work in a bank building. One of the other branches got robbed last week. One of my sons's just got a new Ruger P 85 or 95. So I decide to head over to the gun area. Sure enough the dude is there. He has the clerk showing him some heavy magnum pistol. He says that he will take it. The clerk asks for his id. Dude gives him the id and the clerk heads for a backroom area to check it out, I guess.

I'm just browsing the weapons. Around 5 minutes latter 3 uniformed and badged peace officers of some sort show up heading quickly toward the gun counter where my man is pacing nervously. They kind of surround him, ask his name and I hear them say "You are under arrest for illegal possession of undersized fish. Empty out your pockets." Seems it was the FWC (Florida Wild life commission) Dude is not going along with this, he starts resisting and calling the officers all sorts of names. Something like....: WG I'll get you... you sob, oh god, jesus, please help me....where is tampon when I need him.....I'm going to get that fing coleslaw, I swear they were over 18. its not bonita..."
I could not make out the rest. He was hauled out kicking and screaming.

I'll tell you one thing...that stradic with power pro on a gloomis will kill a fish.

For one thing, men wrote those laws, laws can be anything men make up.
For another, sure a fetus is "living", sure if its mother dies it probably does too.

It's just not yet a " human being", until it is.
