   If people organize, 'occupy' and interfere with normal everyday workings of society, should the politicians listen to what they are saying?

Should policy be changed because the media covers their event?

What if it is Tea party instead of Occupy?

Should politicians pay any attention at all to protesters?

doesn't their protest actually bypass the election process?

One person one vote, the representative then enacts laws that they were elected to pass and do the will of those who elected them to office?

If they then change law or policy because of media coverage of a protext doesn't that sway the process in favor of mob rule instead of the electorial process?

Should people have the right to protest peacefully? Absolutely.
Should politicians take note? Yes.
Does protest bypass the electoral process? No.

The media wants to sell soap and unfortunately we have short attention spans and want to see the most outrageous thing going on for 30 seconds.

A big problem for both sides is the infiltration of opportunists. Trump has the Klan and Bernie has the young anarchists to contend with. It's up to them to denounce political violence.

I don't think it's a good idea to protest while waving the Mexican flag any more than while waving the Confederate flag.

In both cases it's counterproductive.
