Wouldn't it be prudent to make the people pay for the new un War? Those who would best benefit from our Navy, Airforce and all bombs and missiles raining in on the Isisl people. Saudis could pay, Jordan, Iraq all those guys stand to win while we save their collective asses. Just take a page from Dems, a small war tax on each kingdom to help them stave off the Barbarians at the door.

You raise a good point. When Bush did this, the progs screamed bloody murder about having to raise taxes to support the war. They also said that anyone for it had to either enlist or send their kids over. Those sentiments seem to be missing this time around.

Hahahaha!

You're lying. Bush urged the American people to 'go to the mall'.

Tax? War Tax?

Never happened.

Ask congress to pay for it.
And ask the people for whose benefit we are killing to pay.

But this one will hopefully not be anywhere near the scale of the Bush folly that began it all, and of course it is just more of the total price we have to pay for that monumental blunder. If it turns into more of the debacle with thousands of Americans dying, you bet we will be screaming bloody murder.

Why should we pay? Tax the countries we are saving. Let them get off some of that big oil $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and pay their own way

We should pay because the party that permanently and publicly espouses no new taxes looks at foreign wars for oil the way a baseball team owner looks at county commissions to pay for his stadium. It's a hypocrisy that they simply cannot acknowledge or appreciate.

Good then; we are anticipating a prog war tax box to be checked by progs only on the 2015 tax forms. That settles that!

You are truly daffed, he cut taxes, then opened war on two fronts.

The Arab states should pay for this, hell the Arab states should do all the bombing and fighting too.

The PiC lowered taxes (or so he claims - http://l.barackobama.com/taxes/ ) and started wars on 3 fronts.
