I sure miss the shrimp and fishing boats up there. My dad would take me up there and we would talk to all the captains and crew. What a blight on the area that port has become. In a way, I am glad that I am getting old and will die before I have to witness what else these carpet baggers come up with. God, I miss the Florida and Brevard County of the late 50s and 60s.

When on the way to surf inside the jetty....Driving down the dirt road with huge pot holes filled with water. Shrimp boats lined up down the seawall.

Regular people won't even be able to boat out of the port within the next ten years.

Have they made them build a holiday turd processing plant up there yet or do they still dump it all off of our doorstep?

I was right.

Royal Caribbean is sending the Allure of the Seas to Miami in July(?), then over to Europe for refit. The Utopia of the Seas will replace the Allure for 3 & 4 night cruises in July. And then, next year The Big Mother is coming, , , , the Star of the Seas will be bigger than the Icon of the Seas. For now, the Wonder of the Seas will stay here
