You shouldnt have to provide fresh stuff. There is either none, dead or alive ones. You are hoping for none. If you have dead ones that means you are still making them. I guess you always making swimmer but they should be damed in. If there are dead one means your levy broke. They were filming your ass...lol

Had mine done long ago after two kids
Tested and said ok Military took me away on an off Wife got pregnant So, tested again Looks ok and clear - 1 in 1000 whatever than meant - Not impossible, but not very likely Tested again 6-8 months later - ok clear Later, much later and while still in military, wife has 'false pregnancy' and aborts (whatever that means - either pregnant or not pregnant?? If you abort 'something' it's not false!! I was younger and naïve) Ah, we're divorced now. And in all these years I have not had any more kids from any other female. |

I dropped off my specimen at 9 am and called docs office at noon since I had not heard back...and was told doctors are at lunch and will be back later. Got the call at the end of the day with negative results... So first hunch is they forgot to test it until late in the day and the sample was no good anymore, but instead of just saying that they want a retest after 6 mos.... Like everyone else said here , a negative result should mean all clear. The paperwork never stated that two samples were required, and the doc only provided one specimen cup , so all signs point to one only required.. Hate to chance it w the wife but I am considering not going back for round two given the negative results... |

Be aware that up to a year after the procedure you can have some intense aching. I did a year after, and went through about a month of pain. Seems the vas defrin (sp) can rupture on the potent side, but it's no big deal. ------------------------- See you all next summer. Have a great rest of 2016, and don't vote for Trump. |

This is true, but what I learned (too late I might add) is that in an open-ended vasectomy, the doc can tie and cauterize the two ends that lead out to the urethra and leave open the two ends that lead to the testicles. I had all four ends tied, and as predicted by a golfing buddy, they ruptured anyway from pressure. The time period in which the pressure built to when they ruptured lasted a month and I was scared. This episode occurred a year after the procedure. For a month it felt like a constant squeeze, and we all know badly that aches Fortunately, after they ruptured the pain was permanently resolved and the vasectomy is still effective 16 years later.
Oh, and the doctor didn't use a scalpel to get into the scrotum. He had some device that penetrated it, like a needle, and then opened up to about 1cm. No stitches required. ------------------------- See you all next summer. Have a great rest of 2016, and don't vote for Trump. Edited: 06/12/2016 at 09:58 AM by MikeTech |
